Epson Resetter
The Smart Resetter for Epson will reset the "smart chip" on almost all Epson inkjet cartridges multiple times. Reset printer cartridge chips to factory specifications, showing full ink levels and providing the same number of cycles as when the Epson inkjet cartridge was new. Just place the cartridge on the resetter and wait 4 seconds!

Why use the Epson Resetter
Epson inkjet cartridges with "smart chips" send a signal to the printer when empty, and the printer won't recognize the refilled cartridge as it "remembers" it as empty. The resetter will "reset" the Epson chips to "full" specs.

Alternatives to the Canon Resetter
- Compatible Chips: Another method to overcome the "out of ink" signal that is sent to the printer due to a spent inkjet cartridge is to replace the chip. Compatible chips are available on request.

- Compatible Cartridges (with chips): Uni-Kit offers compatible or remanufactured Canon CLI-8 and PGI-5 cartridges with new, compatible chips.
- Manual overide procedure: Although this procedure may not work for all Canon printers, it is an option for customers to consider:
- Place the refilled cartridge (with the original "empty" chip) in the printer
- Press and hold the Reset/OK Button for 5 seconds to reset the chips.
- The "Ink Low" dialog box will pop up (similar to photo 1 below)
- Continue to print until the "ink has run out" dialog box pops up (similar to photo 2 Below) Click "OK" to continue to print.
- The "Ink Low" dialog box may reappear, if so repeat the first 2 steps
- Then the "once empty" dialog box will pop up (similar to photo 3 Below) Click "Yes" to continue to print
- The "Not Liable" dialog box will pop up (similar to photo 4 below). Click "Yes" to continue to print
- Continue to print until the "remaining level of ink" dialog box pops up (similar to photo 5 Below) Click "OK" to continue to print
- Another dialog box will pop up with the "press and hold the Resume" or "press and hold the Paper Feed" button (similar to photo 6). Press and hold the "STOP/RESET" button (for Canon MP Series) or "PAPER FEED" button (for Canon IP Series) for 5 seconds. DO NOT Click "Back" or "Cancel Printing"
- The "Ink Monitor" dialog box will appear and the printer will continue to print. (similar to photo 7) In the event that that the "press and hold the Resume " dialog box pops up again, Press and hold the Paper Feed Button or Stop/Reset Button for 5 seconds

Download Software Resetter for Epson C90
If any error when running Program Resetter, following this instructions :
Delete the folder in “C:\Adjustments_Programs\Stylus XXX” on your PC.
Navigate to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | EPSON | PTSG | Stylus CXX.
Delete registry key “Stylus CXX or Stylus RXX”
Then Reboot your PC. you must reboot your pc to take effect
to Reset Waste Ink Counter at Epson C58, C67, C79, C90, R270, R390, RX650, CX3900
Extrac file Adjustment Program you was download
Switch on printer
RUN AdjProg.exe file for Epson Stylus C58, C67, C79, C90, R270, RX650, CX3900
choose Particular adjustment mode
Go to interview Then select waste Ink pad counter then click ok
Klik initialization button to clear Waste Ink Pad counter to zero
Once you press Initialize button, you can see its completion message, so that press OK button
To Read Status Counter Press Read button, you can see the current counter value.
Turn off the printer for 5secs then turn again

Here are step for reset canon pixma iP1880
Download service tool for Canon iP1880

* Driver should have been install correcly.
* Connect USB cable.
* Before connect power, press and hold power button then connect the power.
* At the same time Hold power button, and press reject button for 2 times then release power button.
* Run software resetter for canon iP1880.
* Don’t forget to open lock release in the software. ( note : to view locK release menu, min resolution 1024 x 728)
* Then select Set Destination to iP1880
* Check CLEANING and EEPROM CLEAR
* Click MAIN and PLATEN
* Finally test print by click TEST PATTERN1.
